Silence

She was walking towards EngPun for the first time with her bestfriend, Alex. Along the way, they didnt talk much. She was listening to her ipod. And Alex was listening to hers.

There was complete silence between them. All she could hear was the song 'Melihat Bintang' by Hafiz Hamidun which is her favorite song to listen to as she started her day. And all she could feel was the cold morning breeze brushing off her cheek.

Surprisingly, she realised that the most beautiful creature on Earth was not Shah Rukh Khan or Robert Downey Jr, but it was the Sun! After 3 months and a half she'd been in Maryland, that was the first time she smiled walking under it. All these while she kept on cursing the Sun for giving out too much light and produce too much heat that almost burnt off her shoulder for whatever reason only God knows.

There was complete silence. And she felt comfortable. The mood was right. The weather was right. The person was right.

She had good conversations. With Alex. And with herself.

And she didnt even open up her mouth.

It was a good kickstart :)






*I just want to conclude that we dont really have to tell/explain ourselves to make people understand. Chemistry will do that.
